You Pull It

Using a “you pull it” salvage company is a great way to save time and money. While we do offer used auto parts that we can pull for you, sometimes it makes customers more comfortable to go out to the salvage yard and get the part themselves. By pulling yourself, you can be assured that the part is removed correctly and you can see for yourself how it looks and the condition that it is in.


Our company has some easy to follow rules in our salvage yard, and as long as they are observed admission is free. Here are just a few of our easy rules:

• Admission to the “you pull it” section of our salvage yard is at no cost to you
• Visitors must be over the age of eighteen
• We ask that all customers check in at the parts desk upon arrival and check out at the parts desk when they leave
• No open-toed shoes, flip flops or sandals should be worn in the salvage yard. This rule is for your personal safety
• Failure to comply with our “you pull it” rules may give cause for us to ask you to leave the yard
• No customer torching is allowed at this time
• Hours for the “you pull it” yard are as follows: Monday through Friday 8 am – 4:45 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 3:45 pm.

Utilizing the “you pull it” option allows you to pull your own parts at a lower cost than if we pull them for you. Here are just some of the types of items you may find:

1. Transmissions and motors that may be barely used or ones that still have many miles left on them. Ordinarily these items will cost a large amount of money when purchased new and sometimes are even difficult to find for different types of vehicles. These items are typically marked up at the retail level and can put a serious dent in your wallet.
2. Our “you pull it” yard can also hold a wide range of choices if you are looking for aftermarket parts for various types of cars and trucks. You could potentially find rear spoilers that are in good shape, exhaust kits, sports clutches and short shifters and more. Even if these parts do not match your car, you may find it less expensive to sand and prime the parts and get them painted to match your vehicle, as opposed to spending countless hours and dollars on finding them new.
3. In addition to aftermarket parts, you may find it helpful to come out to the salvage yard and browse. Car enthusiasts, who have more than one vehicle or have project cars, may find it useful to stop in and see what they can find. There may be some parts that you did not think about and could use to make your car more attractive or may help boost performance. Also, remember if you are looking for a specific part and we do not have it, we can often find it for you. We have access to salvage yards across the United States and chances are someone, somewhere will have what you need.
